Kids Ride – Pop-Up Bike Park

Bring your kids and join us for a ride at the Cordelia Park pop-up bike park this Wednesday evening! All ages welcome.

This is the first pop-up bike park in Charlotte and it will feature two temporary mountain bike trails for beginner and intermediate riders. The project will test bicycle recreation facilities in smaller public spaces along greenway systems and in more urban parks throughout Mecklenburg County.

As stated in Meck Playbook, the second most requested amenity by Mecklenburg County residents is unpaved trails. Surveys will be collected from participants about their experience. This information will go directly to Park and Recreation and inform future unpaved trail projects and bike parks.
