🌦Of course, it’s summer in Charlotte, and the forecast calls for a possibility of thunderstorms (like it pretty much seems to every day!) so keep an eye out on our socials for updates tomorrow in case we have to postpone again.

But hopefully we’ll all be able to get together for a social ride at Sherman Branch to celebrate and support the LGBTQ community!

Big thanks to all the people and trail gnomes who came out to help give @rockybranchpark_nc some TLC this morning. With a big group we were able to get a lot done on clearing drains, fixing bad ruts and improving problem areas. Special thanks to the people who came out for their first ever trail work day! Well deserved pizza at the end to thank everyone for a sweaty but satisfying morning!

🛠️ Rocky Branch Park – Saturday, June 28, 9am–12pm

We’ll be doing some much-needed work on eroded sections, plus trimming and blowing to keep the trails clear and riding great all summer long.

No experience needed. Just bring water, gloves, and eye protection. We’ll supply tools, but if you’ve got a string trimmer, blower, shovel, or McLeod, bring it along!

🍕 Afterward, we’ll refuel with pizza and drinks, so let us know you’re coming to help us order the right amount. Click link in bio to let us know.

We just rescheduled the Pride Ride from this Tuesday to next week.

The heat index forecast looks like a little too crazy!

But we’re just going to push things a week and now we plan to get together Tuesday July 1st for a social ride at Sherman Branch to celebrate and support the LGBTQ community!

All are welcome for this casual ride, and we’ll fire up the grill when we’re done.

Come lend a hand on one of the area’s most popular trail systems!

Reminder that this Saturday June 7 is National Trails Day, Saturday and we’re heading to Ballantyne District Park for a morning of much-needed trail TLC.

Never been to a trail work day before? No problem. The Trail Gnome accepts all willing humans…no magic required. Just show up ready to help and maybe have a few laughs.

🕘 9am–12pm
📍 Meet in the lot by the soccer fields
🧤 Wear pants, long sleeves, gloves, and bring eye/ear protection
