Calling all lady riders! Save the date to join us

Calling all lady riders! Save the date to join us for a party paced spin around the beautiful Uwharrie National Forest!
We had to postpone the February ride because of weather but we’re ready to go in April!
We will split in to a few skill/speed/distance based groups with appointed leaders and a no-drop format. This trail is not recommended for those just starting their riding journey. There are some technical areas and rider must be able to ride at minimum 7 continuous miles.
Be sure to dress in appropriate layers for cold weather and plan to warm up quickly on some of the fun climbs the trail has to offer!
A social to follow the event…Bring it on ladies!
Meet up 10:00 AM (Top parking lot – along the gravel road – near the toilet!)
Wheels roll 11:00 AM

💔 Valentine’s Ride Postponed 💔 Mother Nature had other plans! 🌧️🥶 Due to rain and dropping temps, the trails at Uwharrie will be closed for riding. The Lady Shredders Valentine’s Ride is postponed to April 12th. We will follow up soon with more details! 🗓️

Night time is the right time!

Join us for a fun night ride at the revitalized Renaissance Park!

The ride includes 5 miles of single track on the main trail and short track, with 2 urban miles to and from the trails.

Everyone is encouraged to join this ride (there are some technical rock/root sections).

We will meet at the Jocks & Jills Parking lot and ride from there.

Wheels roll at 6.30pm. If you’d prefer to meet us at the trailhead, we should be there shortly after 6.30.

Afterwards we’ve got space reserved at Jocks & Jills for a social gathering, including 10% off food!

Remember night time is dark, so you must bring LIGHTS!

If you love riding our local trails - we’d love

If you love riding our local trails - we’d love your help working on them.

We're seeking volunteers to lend a hand as we continue to build and maintain trails for everyone to enjoy. Not sure what it involves? Check out this short video we made about a workday at Colonel Beatty Park in December.

Hopefully it gives you an idea of what our volunteers can accomplish in just a few hours working together. We have a lot of fun, and there’s nothing like the satisfaction of riding over a trail section you know you helped create!

Keep an eye out for announcements in our newsletters and social media about future work days if this gets you interested. Or if you can’t make it out to a workday, you can always help buy materials and equipment by becoming a member and making a donation! We really appreciate the support. Are you in to help?
